This project was made for Vizionar, student design competition.
Main goal of the competition was to create plaque, diploma and logo for Pliva Award,
recognition given to the authors of most innovative and valuable company's project in that year,
that contributes both Pliva and humanity.
We wanted Pliva Award to represent values that, Pliva as large pharmaceutical company, is supporting; health, care, vitality and the quality of living.
But, we also wanted to create something that represents traits that are rewarded by it; such as innovation, creativity, research, knowledge and improvement.
Health is symbolically shown as glowing sphere as we considered health as core of every one of us. But health is also subjected to external influences that we can not control, but are able to protect ourselves from. That's why our sphere has “protective shield” in form of translucent dome that doesn't interfere with glow of our core, but is protecting it.
Most interesting element of plaque is it's ability to interact with us. Award would be presented in a way that person receiving the award should already hold part of the plaque, it's stand, the translucent dome.
Then, person that is handing over an award would put it's other part, small sphere,
inside the dome that awarded person is holding.

At the moment core touches stand, core would light up and remain glowing as long it stays inside the dome.
That interaction symbolises persons ability to develop it's full potential only while it's safe from harm,
and also, very act of lighting up, symbolises idea and enlightenment of rewarded individual.

Finally, concept of presenting this idea was to show significance of inner light in every person.
Our lights can be fragile, but we can overcome that by caring and protecting ourselves.
Main character of our story finds safety for his core in dome that looks just like Pliva Award
that insures him stabile and bright future.
